Everything Except The Grill - The purpose of this photo challenge project is to encourage you to pick up your camera and start capturing details of your life. This project should also serve as a way to look at what others are finding to shoot and will hopefully keep you inspired to look for more moments in your life you wouldn't always think to capture with your camera. Our first My Life. In Pictures. challenge will start on March 30th and run through April 3rd.The assignment will be: Monday- Something new, Tuesday- Something on your table, Wednesday- The view from your front door, Thursday- Something you do each day and Friday- Something old. If you need any more details they are listed here.
Seeing as though I have actually been having a rough couple of days (I swear I'm jet lagged from daylight crappy saving or whatever it's called!), and I am in fact
slow on the uptake (yes, I was actually referring to myself above!), today I will be doing 2 posts so by tomorrow I will be caught up with everyone!! Thursday's post will be a good one because I've already chosen it...Just playing Pretend - you already know it! haha!
My Something New
I have new shelves! Woo...somewhere to actually put my books!! Yay! it has been commented on that they are predominantly pinkish colours, a lot of the titles contain the word "shoe" and all have smutty pictures (Google for images of Star / Star Struck by Pamela Anderson - it's a cracker!) on the covers!

Yeah! I'm sorry you felt pressure but glad my guilt trip worked!
The book shelf looks really cute with all the pink and shoes. Perfect!
You have me looking forward to Thursday.
I've planned Thursday already!! It'll be funny! Having a terrible day so my post wasn't really up to par, but i shall make sure my next picture post is better!! x
Your bookshelves look very pretty! I went through a chick-lit loving phase, so a whole section of my bookcase is filled with pastel colored books :)
Now you made me wish I could come over and read chicklits with you..:D
Very nice! I love looking at people's bookshelves and seeing what they read.
Hey! I do have a few people willing to ship internationally! So, come on over and join the fun!
@ MMusing - I kind of like colour co-ordinated books! Makes the shelves look good!!
@ IL - You're more than welcome anytime, but it's a long walk!!
@ SB - I love pics of peoples houses in general! I love a bit of nosiness!
xx
Are those built ins? I'm jealous! They are awesome! It looks so nice the way you have it arranged
They are indeed built in. I have the same the other side with DVDs...I love shelves that look like they're meant to be there! x
Always, ALWAYS stick around with a girl who has a ton of books
@ So@24 - whys that? Do you like reading girly books? x
OMG bookshelf envy. Mine are scattered around on three or so different shelves and I want them all in one spot!
They look terrific. We bought the boards to put up shelves, haven't gotten to it yet, but they will never look this good.
@ Lily - bookshelf envy is totally new to me - I always thought everyone had bookshelves!!! I'll take a pic of the other side when I get chance!! (i.e when I've tidied hehe).
@ Kathryn - I didn't put them up personally (thanks dad!) but it looked pretty easy (she says - unable to put them up herself lol).
Oh man. Your bookshelf looks a bit like mine (:
